ConnectionLoop Terms of Use
Effective date: October 26, 2026 Between you and: Doyel Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Doyel Labs", "we", "us") Contact: support@doyel-labs.com
These Terms are the agreement between you and Doyel Labs for using the ConnectionLoop app, the connectionloop.app website, and the services behind them (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use ConnectionLoop
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- If you are under 18, you may use the Service only within a family or group run by a parent, guardian, or another adult who has agreed to these Terms on your behalf, and you confirm you have their permission.
- You must give us a real email address and keep your account information accurate.
- You may not use the Service if the law where you live does not allow it, or if we have previously closed your account for breaking these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password and devices secure. Use a password you do not use anywhere else. Tell us at support@doyel-labs.com right away if you think someone else has used your account. We are not responsible for loss caused by someone using your account because you shared your password or device.
3. Families, groups, invites and roles
- Every family or group in ConnectionLoop is invite-only. You join with an invite code or link from someone already in it. There is no public directory.
- The person who creates a family or group is its owner. Owners can make other members admins. Owners and admins can invite and remove people, change roles, create and revoke invite codes, and review reported content. Members can post and see everything shared in that family and can leave at any time.
- Invite codes are for the people you mean to invite. Do not post them publicly. Anyone who joins with your code can see what is shared in that family. Owners and admins can revoke a code at any time.
- Owners are responsible for who they let in. Doyel Labs does not vet members and is not a party to the relationships among them.
4. Your content
It stays yours. Plans, lists, notes, photos, messages and anything else you post ("your content") belong to you.
The permission we need to run the app. You give Doyel Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, display and adapt your content only as needed to operate, secure, back up and improve the Service, and to show it to the members of the families and groups you share it with. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups (cleared within 90 days) and content you shared into a family that other members still rely on, which stays in that family unless you delete it first.
What you promise about your content. You have the right to post it. It does not break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or violate section 5.
What we do not do with it. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial-intelligence systems.
Photos of other people. Only post photos of people who would be comfortable with them being shared with the members of that family or group.
5. Rules of conduct
ConnectionLoop is a private place for families and small groups. Do not use it to:
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or deceive anyone, or share content that is hateful, violent, or sexually explicit;
- post, request, or share any sexual content involving a minor. We report such material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and to law enforcement, and we close the account;
- share anyone's private information without their permission;
- send spam, run scams, or impersonate another person;
- upload malware, or try to probe, break into, overload, or reverse engineer the Service;
- use automated tools to scrape or collect information from the Service;
- get around invite-only controls, security features, or reporting tools;
- break the law, or help anyone else do any of these things.
If you see something that breaks these rules, use Report on the message or photo. Owners and admins of the family see the report; they can hide the content and remove the member. You can also email support@doyel-labs.com. We may remove content, restrict features, or close accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, and we may preserve and disclose information when we believe the law requires it or someone is at risk.
6. What the Service does and does not do
- ConnectionLoop helps a family keep track of plans. It is not an emergency service, a safety or monitoring service, or a substitute for your own judgment. Reminders and notifications can be delayed or missed for reasons outside our control, such as your phone's settings, battery, or network. Do not rely on the Service for anything where a missed alert could cause harm.
- Features such as "Who's free", "Clash radar", "Your week", and suggested handoffs are calculated from what your family has entered. They can be wrong when the entries are.
- "Say your list" and "Type it fast" turn what you say or type into list items and plans using a speech service and plain rules. They can mishear or misread, so the app shows you the result before anything is added; what you confirm is yours to check.
- Connecting Apple, Google, or Outlook calendars is optional. You choose the calendars and the direction for each group. Sync can lag, skip an event outside the phone's window, or keep the newer change when both sides were edited. Disconnecting stops sync and does not delete plans already in the group.
- The organizer of a family or group pays for it. The plan is $1.99 a month and includes 6 seats (the organizer and 5 people they invite). Extra seats come in packs of 5 at $1.99 a month each, and packs stack. People who join with an invite do not pay.
- A new organizer may start a 14-day free trial. After the trial, the plan renews each month until it is cancelled. Payment is charged to the Apple ID or Google Play account used to subscribe. The subscription renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel the subscription in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting a ConnectionLoop account does not cancel the store subscription.
- If the plan lapses or there are more people than paid seats, the group becomes read-only. Plans, lists, photos, and messages stay. Nothing is deleted because a payment failed.
- There is no advertising in the Service.
- We may change, add, or remove features, or stop offering the Service, at any time. We will give reasonable notice of discontinuation where practical.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It is part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The ConnectionLoop name, logo, app, website, design, and software (excluding your content) belong to Doyel Labs or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, under these Terms and the app store's rules. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, or use our marks, without our written permission. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.
Copyright complaints. If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, email support@doyel-labs.com with "Copyright" in the subject, the work you own, where the content is, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for them, and your signature. We respond to valid notices and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
9. Ending your use
- You may stop using the Service at any time, leave any family or group, or delete your account in Privacy & Safety. Deleting your account removes your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, if your account has been inactive for more than two years, or if we discontinue the Service. Where the reason is a breach, we will tell you the reason unless the law prevents it or telling you would put someone at risk.
- Sections 4 (license for shared content already in a family), 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 survive the end of your account.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOYEL LABS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL NOT BE LOST. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Some places do not allow some of these disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOYEL LABS AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE. THIS INCLUDES HARM THAT RESULTS FROM MISSED OR DELAYED REMINDERS, LOST CONTENT, THE CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some places do not allow limits on certain liabilities, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or gross negligence; nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Your responsibility to us
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Doyel Labs and its members, managers, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or the law, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or misconduct. We will tell you promptly of any such claim and let you control the defense, provided you do not settle in a way that admits fault on our behalf without our consent.
13. Disputes, governing law and arbitration
Talk to us first. Most problems can be solved by email. Before starting a formal dispute, email support@doyel-labs.com with "Dispute" in the subject and give us 30 days to work it out with you.
Governing law. These Terms and any dispute between us are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the consumer-protection laws of the state or country where you live apply where they cannot be waived.
Arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Doyel Labs agree to resolve it by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either of us may seek an injunction in court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access. The arbitration will take place by video, by phone, or in the county where you live, at your choice. We will pay the arbitration filing and arbitrator fees for claims under $10,000 unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous.
No class actions. Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims of different people.
Your right to opt out. You may reject this arbitration agreement by emailing support@doyel-labs.com with "Arbitration opt-out" in the subject within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
If arbitration does not apply. Any dispute that is not arbitrated will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
14. Other terms
- App stores. If you got the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply, and they are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app and are not responsible for any claim relating to it.
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. For changes that matter we will tell you in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
- Whole agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Doyel Labs about the Service. If a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them to a successor who takes over the Service.
- Notices. We may notify you in the app or by email to the address on your account. Notices to us go to support@doyel-labs.com.
- Export and sanctions. You may not use the Service in violation of United States export or sanctions laws.
